For those of you who prefer the outdoors Bayswater can offer Hyde Park, where you can have a picnic, go paddle boating or running. This is a also a great place for general living as there are many convenient stores such as Waitrose, Tesco Metro, Tesco Express, hardware shops, electrical shops and laundrettes. Walking: Imperial students can walk across Hyde Park to University, not to mention all the attractions of High Street Kensington. Notting Hill and Marble are also with in walking distance. tube: Bayswater, the flat is literally 2 minutes walk from the station (circle and district) great for kings college and imperial students. Queensway, about 5 minutes walk to the station, (central) East to LSE and West to Shepherd’s bush, which is the site for the London School of Fashion campus and also Westfield shopping centre – the largest urban shopping centre in Europe. Royal Oak (Hammersmith and city) a straight tube to Warren St and Farringdon which is ideal for UCL and City students. Day bus: Many direct buses to various universities - 23 to the Strand (stops in front to King's College London and LSE) and the 27 to UCL, 70 to Imperial. Other buses of interest include the 23 to liverpool street, 94 to Picadilly circus/ Leicester square, 27 to camden and 390 to Notting Hill gate.
